Whims

I bought and ate from my own personal pumpkin pie today.  Twice.

I ran the Chinese gender chart.

According to ancient traditions and the zits on my chin, it's a girl.

  1. Just in case, did you know for the Chinese gender chart, you have to put in your "Chinese" birthday? Is usually adding a year to your birthday, unless your bday is around Chinese New Year. Still a girl then?

    1. Excellent. I am now 43.

Still a girl. Take home baby or not, I think it's a girl.

  2. Roccie! My disgustingly fertile Mom had 9 of us....the chinese gender chart was correct for all 9! And my two if you're wondering. Just had to add my pennies!

    1. It was right for Leah. Couldnt figure out Jay since there is some ambiguity with a donor. BUT with Jay, I had no tumor-zits, nor was I eating sweets like a FT job.

  4. Chinese gender chart had Gummy pegged as a girl, even with so many saying it HAD to be a boy. So, it has to be totally valid, right.
    Enjoy the pumpkin pie, mama.

  5. Oh yeah. Eating a whole pie. In installments. This is always appropriate, and certainly while gestating a girl. Oh Roccie, please let it be a take home girl...

  7. Rock that pie. Just tonight I was looking at the million dollar pumpkin pies at Whole Foods and told my husband I would be eating one in its entirety if this cycle is a bust. It did not even occur to me that I will also want one if it works. Here's hoping it's the latter. I want so badly for it to be a take-home girl. Also, I will need you to help me select gender if we end up with two healthy embryos, and thus, a choice.
