  3. So great to see someone appreciate this little baby. Raise that baby yourself and enjoy every second!

  4. Dear Anonymous

I am sure I am just over sensitive, but...

Appreciation has fuck all to do with it.

Working mommas appreciate their babies just as much as the ones who stay home.

I never threw Toddlerina out to the wolves to be raised when I worked. I raised her and it was fabulous and it was hard and it is magnificent.

    1. Nah, fuck it, Roccie. Us working moms fucking HATE our babies and are going to drop them off on your doorstep tomorrow morning, so a perfect and divine SAHM can FINALLY show them some love. I would MUCH rather work to keep us above water in a shit economy than be with him. Who gives a shit about babies, anyway?

(Do I make my point, anonymous?)

    2. Yeah, I work and could give a fuck about my babies. In fact I only spend thousands of dollars making them so someone else can raise them and I can go to WORK.

      Give me fucking break.

  7. I am not the anonymous that is anonymous because they posted a comment that is offensive to the many of us that for one reason or another, mostly the desire to have our children live in a heated home with food on the table and clothes on their backs and healthcare have to use childcare services to achieve this. We love our children immensely and appreciate them. I used to visit my kids at lunchtime and play with them and the other babies. I would nurse them at drop off before leaving them, at lunch when I visited and at the end of the day before leaving. When I was at work I would pump 1-2 times a day. I am pretty sure that is love and appreciation!

I am wondering though where the face is on that snowman. Did a dear eat the carrot nose, and a squirrel snag the acorns or whatever that were the eyes!

    Good for you, Roccie!

  9. Wow, really?? Mazel! Not because it means now you're a real mommy, but because it sounds like you're happy with this turn of events. Awesome stuff! And great reply to Anonymous #1 (what is it with that name popping up everywhere? It's like Maddie or Isabella or my name back in the late 70's...).

  10. I, along with your snowman, celebrate this great turn of events. And unlike anonymous, I wish to make no general statement about staying at home versus going back to work after having a baby. If there ever was a private and personal decision, this would be it.

  11. Woo-hoo! You, Todlerina, and baby J are very, very, lucky!! Enjoy :)

  12. Oh what a brilliant turn of events! (Even if you had to go public with it the day *I* went back to work...) I'm so happy you can do this, because I know you hated that damn job, or at least the people.

  13. Woohoo! Haters will hate, but you get to be where you want and that is a blessing, indeed. I plan to be a stay at car mam, as we will be homeless in some months of me not working. I kid, at least a year or two, but still.

Take that job and shove it is right. Free! Free! Free!

  14. I think it was said wrong. If you work, someone does raise your child at least as much as you do. This isn't bad, it just is what it is. When my kids are older they won't need anyone else but us to parent. But right now daycare is helping to raise them. SAHM are usually parenting 100% and that works for them. People are so weird about this. I have a friend who says her one year old goes to "school" instead of daycare. Get over it... we all love our kids.

  16. My favorite line from the second Hang.over movie was when Zack.Galafianakis says, "I'm a stay at home son." That made me snort uncontrollably!

That said, I'm so happy for you and your choice to stay home. I wish I could do that right NOW, I haven't yet hatched the little one.

  17. Yay! I hope it's wonderful and amazing for you. Me? I need the break I get from working part-time. You are much braver than I am. :)
