Pregnant wanker Fertiles

My sisters, I was blatantly rude to the douche bag who just came in my office to announce he was 10 weeks pregnant.

"Sure happened a lot quicker than we thought."

     "This heat is killing her."

"We will definitely find out what we are having."

I sit here with a baby in my belly at 21 weeks and his words still sear me like a hot sword to the gut. Jealousy is such an ugly emotion.

Sending you all my best as you encounter your own personal bags of D in your life.

It sucks and you are not alone.

  1. Ugh. The life of an infertile never ends does it? Sometimes you'd think it might get easier but I really don't think it ever does. It's good to know we're not alone, even though it sucks to be in this place. I guess at least the company is good. XXXXX

  2. Mr. Bunny just mentioned that he still gets angry when someone announces a pregnancy. The heat is killing her, huh? What she must be suffering! It boggles the mind.

  3. the b*tches who sit on the other side of a wall from me at work used to talk all the time about how they were going to time things so that they could get a "may baby" or whatever the hell month they were talking about. each had "timed" it so that their first babies came at a certain time and they were gonna do it again. again, b*tches. that's all i gotta say.

  7. Why do we never tell these people to get the fuck out of our offices. It is appropriate sometimes even if it violates the code of conduct.

  8. I sat in the chair getting a pedicure today and the woman on one side of me said, "I'm so tired of being a mother these days..." and not ten minutes later the woman on the other side said, "I'm so glad my days of being pregnant are DONE..." and it took everything I had in me to not hit either of them.

    Stupid, stupid, stupid d-bags.

I don't think I'll ever lose the jealous bone. I have to block every single pregnant friend on facebook for fear that I'll say something really rude to one of their annoying status updates.

  9. Oh yes, I so enjoyed it when the last PG announcement at work was met with "what another? - planned or oops? hahaha". The women said 'no comment'. Says it all.

  11. FB 'friend' posting a few days after the birth of her new (fourth!) healthy baby "Someone take this baby away from me so I can get some peace!" Fucking ingrates. Glad to see you're going ok at 21w though - I'm not too far behind you!

  12. My friend composed a little tune last week. It begins thusly:

"Douchebaggery, douchebaggery, it lives in your heart."

She sings it or hums it when appropriate. It makes her feel better.

  13. Wankers indeed. We will always be bitter, and I'm okay with that. I'd rather be bitter infertile with some heart than smug d-bag fertile who so. Doesn't. Get it.

Love the above little tune -- am committing this to memory when presence of d-bag demands patience.
